However, something is definitely off about this mission, leaving a pervading sense of dread to dog your steps along the imperial via. For one thing, your orders were given directly by the Legatus legionis themselves rather than by the officers of your own centuria. Far more worrisome is the simple dispatch pouch tucked among the supplies and baggage. The Legatus said they contain additional orders, and that your contubernium is to open them only and immediately upon your arrival at Munigua upon pain of execution.
